Jowar chilla is a healthy instant breakfast, it is rich in protein, fibre and a healthy gluten free meal in your weight loss diet. Lauki or bottle gourd helps to get some added fibre and the high fibre will help to keep you satiated for a longer time. This instant breakfast can be made in just under 10 mins on those busy mornings and the best part is this dough can be refrigerated and will stay good for a couple of days. How easy is that?? I mean to have a gluten free millet based dough ready when you need to make a quick gluten free roti.
This instant roti can be enjoyed as filling meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The roti stays soft in your lunch box and hence perfect as lunch box meal.
Ingredients:
1 cup lauki, grated
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
2-3 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp hing
Pink himalayan salt as needed
2 tbsp water or as needed
1/2 cup jowar
3 tbsp besan flour

wood pressed groundnut oil as needed
