Chilla is a flatbread spiced with Indian flavours and with the goodness of turmeric and some seasonal vegetables.
Ingredients:
Old fashioned rolled oats: 1/2 cup
Handful of shallots
1/4 inch ginger
1/2 tomato
1 medium carrot
A sprig of fresh curry leaves
1/4 tsp ajwain
1/4 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 black pepper powder
Pink himalayan salt as needed
----
1/4 cucumber, grated
1/4 capsicum, chopped
A small handful of coriander leaves
1 green chili, chopped
1/4 tsp jeera powder
1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
2 tbsp water
----
wood pressed ground nut oil or desi ghee as needed.
