Cheesy mushroom sandwich is a quick and easy mushroom sandwich with cheese and believe this one is a kid pleaser and packed with the goodness of cheese and mushroom.
For the health conscious, you can use brown bread and reduce ghee. This is a great filling meal for kids school lunch box or as an after school snack. Including ghee in kids diet is a really good choice; but make sure you just do not go overboard.

Ingredients:Bread Slices: 4Mushrooms: 200gmsGhee as neededGreen chilies: 1/2 slicedCrushed pepper: 1/4 tspSalt to tasteCoriander leaves to garnishGarlic cloves: 2-3
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp Method:
Heat ghee in a kadai, add in the garlic cloves and allow it to turn light brown, add in the chopped mushrooms and once the mushroom are heated, cover and cook the mushroom on low heat.
While the mushrooms are getting cooked, grate some cheese and keep aside. Spread ghee on bread and keep aside.
Once the mushroom is cooked add in turmeric, powder, green chilies, coriander leaves, pepper, salt. Saute this for 2 mins. Once it is done switch off the flame.
Toast the bread on an iron tawa and keep aside.
Place mushroom on the toasted bread and top it with some cheese and then toast it on both sides by pressing it down with a spatula as that helps the cheese to melt into the mushroom.
Remove to a plate and repeat the same.
