Oil free curry gravy recipe, yes this curry gravy with healthy punjabi matar paneer is 100% oil free and the best part is nobody guessed it was oil free when I served them with hot phulkas and in no minutes the bowl was wiped clean....and then only I told hubby and kids that...it was completely oil free much to their surprise.
A reader asked me for an oil free recipe and that got me thinking and finally was able to make this delicious curry, I added peas and paneer to it; but if you want a dairy free curry, you can add boiled and cubed potatoes and skip the curd/yogurt I used to drizzle towards the end.
I have to mention that this curry is so easy to make I mean you just roughly chop the ingredients and put in cooker with water and salt and wait for 5 whistles and then puree and add in peas (matar) and paneer and simmer for 2-3 mins...it hardly took 15 minutes for me to make.
Ofcourse, you can add in vegetables of your choice though I would suggest you to add boiled veggies. Check out my homemade paneer recipe.

Once the cooker is opened, puree it with an immersion blender or if using an ordinary blender, allow it to cool down and then blend.
Heat the pureed mix again and add in the chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, turmeric, peas, and paneer. Cover with the lid for 2-3 mins and then open and add in garam masala.
Drizzle 2-3 tbsp curd or yogurt and then mix and add in chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
