I really dont know what to name this easy breakfast dish....amma used to make this for me while growing up....sometimes as breakfast.....sometimes as a mid afternoon snack....
Amma is a wonderful cook, sometimes I am amazed at her creativity in cooking....she makes the most difficult recipes...easy!....
Today morning, I made this simple and easy breakfast dish.....its so easy to make....bachelors will love this 5 min breakfast so does working women.
This is one breakfast which needs very little oil; if cooked in a nonstick pan....and can be ready in just about 5 minutes...
Ingredients:
Egg: 1, slightly beaten.
Onion: 2 medium, chopped.
Green chilly: 1-2, chopped (adjust to your tolerance level).
Capsicum: Half, chopped.
Tomato: 1 medium, chopped.
Bread slices: 2.
Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp.
Salt to taste.
Oil: 1 tbsp.
Method:
Keep everything ready; beaten eggs, pepper, bread slices....everything will happen fast :)
Get the veggies ready...
Heat a pan preferably a non stick, pour 1 tbsp oil or lesser if you are very oil conscious.....dunk in the onions and chopped green chilly....just stir for a few seconds.
Then add the tomatoes....and salt...stir.
And the capsicum...stir for a few seconds.
Pour in the beaten eggs...simmer the fire.
Immediately crumble the two slices of bread and add it.
Mix well...add pepper powder...stir for a min or two until all is well incorporated.
That's it...serve hot.
Enjoy this easy breakfast.....kids will love this
