Avocado salad or avocado mango salsa is a quick salad which I make when avocados are in season. This is a great filling salad and the mangoes gives an nice flavour along with the crunch of the onions. A must try recipe if you have the ingredients at hand.
This salad is a great luch option and if you are on the go and want to take it to work; just put in a mason jar and give it a shake before you have it.

Avocados are fruits and not vegetable and they have the most healthiest fat and they are high in fiber, potassium, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E, and they have a high concentration of mono-saturated fatty acids.
Avocados have healthy fats and cancer fighting anti-oxidants, 11 different carotenoids in avocado helps to fight heart diseases.
The highest concentration of these above mentioned compoounds are found just under the skin, the dark green portion and hence for this reason the portion just below the peel/skin is the most healthiest.
Avocados keeps you fuller for longer time and its a great option to have when you are trying to lose weight and need any more reason not to include it in your diet when they are in season?
