What I love about November is that...its just another month for Christmas!! and that means, chocolates, cookies, cakes, and more chocolate....and the weather around here is so pleasant that it screams chocolate!! or am I imagining!! So when I went shopping a few days ago; for dry fruits and rum and all....I have this ritual of soaking all the goodies in rum...yes!! for Christmas fruit cake, do you also do the same...I mean get ready for Christmas baking!! I already have pineapple wine all geared up!!
Okay, back to
I normally do not stock up on chocolate bars, but then when I went for my little "dry fruits" shopping, I could not resist buying one, bittersweet!! well, I thought...you won't know when I might need it!! and I am glad that I bought it.... after I had a big helping of this yummy hot fudge sauce...I should remember to always, stock up a bar of bitter chocolate....you might be able to make magic with it!!
Chocoholics this is for you!!
I used salted butter (good old Amul butter) for this goeey ooey fudgey sauce, and one whole can of condensed milk....and 200 gms of bitter chocolate.....yes!! three ingredients!! is all that we need!!
hot fudge sauce recipe | how to make hot fudge sauce:
This was the chocolate I was raving about earlier.
I did not chop the chocolates, rather I used my potato peeler to get this...its was pretty easy too...pop a few in without the kids seeing (shhh! I did) Okay, I did measure this for you, it came around 1 cup.
Heat a deep bottomed pan, with butter...if the butter is really cold, just cube them.
Now dunk in the chocolates...and simmer the fire...we dont want it to get burned at the bottom...right??
Pour in the milk goodness aka sweetened condensed milk....one whole can!!
And mix it, try not to raise the heat...as it will stick to the bottom....we just need it to be melted and heated....and all gooey!! That's it!! hot fudge sauce is done!!
Three ingredient super quick, super easy hot chocolate fudge sauce, just for you!
Bottle it!!Drizzle it over cakes or even ice creams!!

INGREDIENTS
- Butter: 1/2 stick, 50 gms.
- Bitter Sweet chocolate: 200 gms (About 1 cup of chopped chocolate)
- Sweetened Condensed milk: 1 can.
METHOD:
- Chop or grate chocolate.
- Heat a deep bottomed pan, with butter...if the butter is really cold, just cube them.
- Add the grated chocolate into it.
- Pour in the condensed milk.
- And mix it, try not to raise the heat as it will stick to the bottom. We just need it to be melted and heated....and all gooey!! That's it!! hot fudge sauce is done.
NOTES
- I wont recommend milk chocolate as it is way too sweet.
- If you are keeping it for longer period, pop it in the fridge and reheat before using.(stays good for up to a month)
- You can use unsalted butter; I love salted ones! If you like some additional flavorings, try vanilla or peppermint.
- Can top it on cookies, cakes, ice creams! or even breads, toasts, or biscuits. Keep the jar away from your eye contact...you just would not be able to resist, so that is a warning!!
- And lastly, do not forget to jog that extra mile...smile :)
